The aim of our project is to control a PC with mobile phone like shutting down, sending mails, sending files, starting or stopping services etc. from any where from this universe using a mobile phone with lesser cost. The user will send message to a mail Id like SHUTDOWN (Command to shutdown machine). Assume the system is switched on. The user sets our site to check the mail account specified by the user every 60 seconds

Then our application will be running in that system. This listener will check if any new mail is arrived to that mail inbox. If any new mail received then it will open the mail and check is the message is sent from the specified mail id by the mobile phone. If it is sent from the mobile phone then it will read the command, which is sent. If the command is SHUTDOWN then it will fire shutdown event to the Operating system and the Operating System will shout down the PC.
